5 – 6 peeled apples

1tsp fresh squeezed lemon juice

1/4c water

1/2c whole grain flour / or brown rice flour / or sorghum flour

1/4c whole grain thick rolled oats

1/4c dry skim milk / or dry coconut milk powder

3/4c organic brown sugar

1/2tsp cinnamon

1/2c melted butter

Lay apples into a 6 x 10 inch baking pan.  Pour lemon juice and water over apples.  Mix remainder of ingredients in bowl and pour over apples.

Bake: 350F for 30-35 minutes Serve warm, or with a high protein plain yogurt topped with slivered almonds to enhance the nutritional value!
